Deposits are paid to show your sincerity in making the bookings or purchases. The deposits are used to secure your bookings for the dive trips or used to confirm the purchase order with our suppliers.
- Do you keep stock of your items in your catalogue?
No, as this is an online business, we do not keep inventories. We obtain directly from our suppliers upon customers order confirmation. That is why we need a deposit from you.
- Are your equipments sale/dive trips cheaper than other internet business or dive shops?
That will depend on how you define "cheaper". When we take mass order, more
discount from our suppliers will be passed on to the customers. You can't expect
to enjoy big discount just for purchase of one item or a single diver going for
dive trips.
- How come your dive courses are so expensive as compared to others dive centre?
We do understand all divers have this concern of "Expensive Courses". Of course, you can get rock bottom prices for dive course else where. Sad to say, almost all dive shops striving to survive in this niche diving market offer super or devalued dive education. The reason is because they believe that discount training can promote diving activities and equipment sales. Hence some dive centers offer courses that are pitifully inexpensive, leaving very little incentive for qualified educators to offer them. On the surface, it may appear favorable for the consumers. But then, it is not likely that many qualified educators will be willing to work for what often amounts to hourly wages that is comparable with the local Mc Donald's crew. Given that one's safety is a stake here, it is questionable, then whether those "Cheap" courses promote the interests of the diver. Nearly everyone understands that for all good things comes with a price. However, it is not often that one who understands the truth keeps them from trying to get more for less. Educators that play pricing games or offer devalued training either simply do not value their own time or offer less for the money. Although high rates do not necessarily makes a good instructor, but they do increase the chances of hiring a professional educator.
- How do I choose which dive agency to get certified as a diver?
No offence meant. All dive agency share something in common and that is to train a safe diver. Different agencies only meant different in "Branding". No one "Brand" is better than the other. All comes down to who is your instructor. A diver from a more prestigious dive training agency doesn't mean he or she is a better diver. In the dive accidents statistics, divers who met with dive accidents do not come from training agencies "No Brand" only. They came from different training agencies as well. Like the saying from OLD "It is not the dive training agency where you come from determined that you are good diver"
- I am only in secondary school, can I become a certified diver?
The minimum age for participation in the Open Water diver course is 10 years old. Minimum age for certification as an Open Water Diver is 15 years old. The Junior Open Water Diver course is the same as the Open Water diver course with the exception that the student must be at least 10, but no more than 14 years of age. The Junior Open Water Diver certification is restricted so the diver may only dive with a certified diver
- Do you run local trips?
We do run local trips but that is only during the closing of the Malaysia diving season.
- Are you the same old Innerspace Adventures/Innerspace Seadventures?
No, Innerspace operations were closed and the owner Mr. Peter Tay Kok Lee had been declared bankrupt. We are in no connection with Mr. Peter Tay and the old Innerspace Adventures/Innerspace Seadventures. We are a brand new entity altogether.

courses?

your catalogue?
Yes, we do have some other brands which are not on the catalogue. Just drop us a query and we will let you know what other brands of equipment we are selling.
- I saw your address on your webpage and name card as well as your brochures. Is
this the address of your dive centre?

- Hear that you guys are newly in this line. We are unsure of your credibility.
No doubt Innerspace Dive Explorers is a new setup. However, our team had been out diving for many years. It is recently that we decided to setup an online dive operation to serve the dive community. You can read up our credentials on the About Us page.
- Since you know that Innerspace Adventures/Innerspace Seadventures had been closed due to the bankruptcy of Mr. Peter Tay, why do you still set up the new company with similar name?
That is an excellent question to ask. Firstly, we are not bothered about the previous owner or what he had done before. Secondly, we are indeed exploring our sea, lakes etc… This is INNERSPACE. We are proud to be INNERSPACE DIVE EXPLORERS.
